I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mount Saint Mary College, and I am dual certified to teach childhood education grades 1-6 and students with disabilities grades 1-6. I am currently working on a Master’s Degree in Literacy birth-6. I work at a preschool in Esopus, and I love it! Although I do love the preschool, this is not what I want to do for the rest of my life. Once I finish the Master’s program I hope to get a job in a local school district. When I began the education program I thought for sure that I had wanted to be a first grade teacher, but I soon realized that I love working with and teaching students from all of the grades. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I have three sisters and two brothers who are my lifelong friends. We get along very well, and I am grateful for that. I enjoy doing many things, and I am willing to try most things at least once. Although I was not raised to be overly competitive, I do try my best when playing. I am fairly shy, and it takes me a little while to completely open up around new people, but once I do, you may wish that I had not. I like to have fun, and I enjoy going out and doing things, and I especially love to dance. I would like to spend more time with friends, take trips, and just have fun.
